Assignment 10-1

After reading the chapters, I would have to say I have lately paid more attention to today’s cell phones. Since I am in IT, I am now finding myself dealing with these new phones like the Moto Q and the Trio Palm phones. They integrate with Exchange allowing the customer to sync email, tasks and even the calendar wirelessly unlike an original palm that you have to manually connect through USB. I have many customers starting to use this technology and I am the one who has to figure out how to make it work with their particular setup. What's nice, now you can use your phone for several tasks where before it was just a phone. You can even get phones to open your garage doors, change the channels on your T.V. and play your MP3's. Wow, I guess that makes me lucky to choose the profession of IT since it will only grow and never die.
