Relating module to what I’ve been thinking about on our current network is a layout or a better design on how the networks should be setup. Even though cost is always a factor in our business, there is always a way since we run all Linux servers except for a couple in our internal office. Our main shares are always getting filled with Junk that should necessarily be there (downloads, etc) and it needs to really have a monthly cleanup ran so that we don’t run out of space. I came up with an idea to do a questionnaire similar to what we are now doing in our class now and wanted to possibly see how the users on the network feel. Questions like:
How do you feel the network runs, is it up to expectation?
Do you have the proper access to the files you need to get to?
Do you get network errors?
How often do you contact helpdesk?
I also have planned upcoming maintence to help new users on the network. I typically rename icons to make it easy for the user. For example, rename the “outlook” icon to say “Email” since not all users are familiar with outlook and rename any shortcuts that say “shortcut to” to the proper name of the application. I had the same problem as others did during the questionnaire in making the questions as of useful information but after sitting down and thinking of questions I could use, the

Assignment 7-2
A recent project I’ve been working on my van has been ongoing. I recently replaced the lower intake gasket on the engine. When I put it back together I found gas leaking out of the top of the fuel injector. I pulled the upper intake off, found the leak and fixed it by clamping it back in place. Once I put it together, again, gas leak. Smacking my head against the wall, I called the dealer to see what I may be doing wrong since I had replaced the o-ring seals on the injectors. Come to find out, you cannot use Motor oil to lube the rings because it expands the rings and basically ruins them. The purpose of the motor oil was to lube them so I could easily put them in place. Finding the correct product to use fixed the problem. This relates on the section about visible the invisible.
Another discussion was about errors and how to deal with these errors. I know that in the future before starting a project I haven’t done before; I will be doing a little more research to figure it out. In my case here, I wasn’t using the right product even though several people had told me I was doing it right. For me, to fix these errors I bought a Haynes manual and it gives the step by step process in how to get it done the right way.
